A Prayer For The Troops

Father, I want to thank you for your children who risk their lives for people they do not know, for righteousness, and for a nation of people unaware of many and constant dangers they may face. I ask in the name of Jesus that you continue to bless, protect, guide, uplift, heal and strenghten our troops. I ask that you be a lamp to their feet and a light to their paths. Thank you for sending them ahead of us to pave the way to true safety and freedom. Amen

Secure In Christ Prayer

My desire is to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before others or have their good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not "mine," but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Amen

Rejoicing In Joy Prayer

Father, I am tried of walking around in sadness with this long, unhappy expression. I ask you to expose the source of this unhappiness, and forgive me for wrong perceptions about you and about myself. You have made me glad and I rejoice before you. I choose to be happy from the inside out, and from the outside in. I am glad and rejoice before you, my God; I am happy and joyful. My happy heart makes my face cheerful, and my eyes rejoices the heart of others. I am a happy, jovial, cheerful and tenacious child of God. Thank you Jesus for your joy. It is fulfilled in me. Hallelujah and Amen.
